CASE STUDY: GVRD HORSE DIRECTORY

Background:

In August, we bought the domain name www.gvrdhorsedirectory.com, with the hopes that we could create a directory, that would soon be a household name within the Equine Industry. The goal for our directory is the provide relevate lisings for horse stables in the Lower Mainland. We also wanted to have a free classified ad section, a mini article directory and some other pluses for our Equine friends. The website was planned to launch September 30th, 2006. Currently, we have almost completed the website and are curently st

arting to get hits from search engines. Although we currently only have one link to into the site and have not totally completed it.

Challenge:

The challenge with this site is to get SERP rankings for all the cities and areas within the Greater Vancouver Regional District.The challenge is to make the GVRD visible to our users. Our goal is the get number one is listings in Ladner stables, Richmond Sables, Langley Stables, Surrey Stables, Mission Stables, Abbotsford Stables, and the other areas.

Solution:

Optimize the pages, create content, provide free services to poteintal clients and start getting some quality one-way links.

Results:

GVRD Horse Directory now ranks in Google, MSN and Yahoo for many of our target keywords, such as horses for sale Vancouver, stables in Maple Ridge, etc...
